La Mia Energia s.c.a.rl. (LME) is limited liability non-profit consortium company, founded in 2009.
It first began as ESCO (Energy Saving Company) in 2009 and is accredited in the AEEG list.
In the following years, it also became accredited as a Research Organization, acknowledged by MIUR (registration nr. 605223DKA of the National Research Registry Office).
In February of 2013, it was granted accreditation by GSE, as National Consortium for the recycling and recuperation of end-of-life-cycle photo-voltaic modules.
With the registration, nr. IT 13121000032, LME became Collective System.
La Mia Energia s.c.a.r.l. operates at an international level, especially in the recovery management of end-of-life-cycle photo-voltaic panels; from the collection phase to that of transport and treatment, including the recovery of waste through the recuperation of precious raw materials or the transformation to energy.

Research partner for the internationalization of the service “MADT “ and PV_Mo.Re.DE ( Photo Voltaic
La Mia Energia has developed , in collaboration with the University of Florence Department of Mechanics and the Leitat Technological Center , a global service called MADT ( service monitoring , analysis , disposal and traceability for photovoltaic panels) highly technological and innovative . The recycling of the modules takes place in the mobile system of treatment called Pv_Mo.Re.De ( Photo Voltaic Panel Recycling Mobile Device) .
The system Allows the traceability of all actions : disassembly , or disposal , or ransferring in stock of certified panels
Traceability is performed with instruments equipped with wireless protocols.
These systems allow you to transfer to to the system of storage and processing , in real time , the results of measurement of the photovoltaic panel. The panel is identified with a bar code.
This makes it possible to follow and document the entire route of the panel , by removing up to its packaging (panel efficient ) or its entry into the system Pv_Mo.Re.De. “Photo Voltaic Panel Mobile Recycling Device” (panel inefficient).
The PV Mo.Re.De (Photo Voltaic Panel Mobile Recycling Device) is a mobile dismantaling system for Photo voltaic panels used to recuperate raw material (aluminium, glass, photo active material, copper) and energy (CDR - Eva and Tedlar).
The device is able to operate directly on the installation site of the photo-voltaic panel; in the systems dedicated to its recycling; in its production plants.
The mobile device introduces a new technology to the recycling of photo-voltaic panels (prevalently addressed to thermo-chemical technology type), an innovative mechanical type process.
The introduction of the mechanical process in the recuperation of the photo-voltaic panels, has determined a series of advantages:
• reduction to the environmental impact, CO2 reduction, minor production of waste;
• simplification of administrative in response to the management standards of the sector;
• considerable savings: a decrease in production costs in respects to the industrial plants located in the areas;
• universality treatment of modules 1, 2, and 3 generations;
• use of material from recuperated waste in new processes;
• mobility and improvement of logistic management
