Water, Environment and Business for Development (WE & B) is a consulting company focused on the economic and social aspects of the water and environmental sectors. WE&B implements water and environmental solutions, innovative business practices and builds capacity to assist communities, companies and public authorities to sustainably develop.
WE&B is divided into 2 main work areas with 3 cross cutting themes. Our main areas of focus are:

WE & Bs Resources
WE & B has an extensive network of experts located in mainly Africa and Latin America with vast amounts of field experience in each one of our work areas. WE&B contracts these local and regional experts for projects managed by the core team at WE&B. This vast network of experts ensures that WE & B is flexible to any project and allows for local knowledge and experience to ensure excellence in project implementation.
WE & Bs working method
In our 5 work units WE & B strives to secure sustainability. The needs of the community, company or public authority need to be taken into account before building on the pillars of sustainability. WE & Bs 4 main pillars in any project are:

WE&B are members of the European Water Supply and Sanitation Technology Platform (WssTP), founding members of the WssTP working group on International Cooperation and Administrators of the Network for Water in European Cities and Regions (NetwercH20). WE&B are also members of the International Water Association and more specifically as active members of the specialist group Ecosystem Services. In addition, WE&B is part of the business networks The Practitioner Hub for Inclusive Business, Global Network on Sustainable Innovation and Entrepreneurship and Global Network on Sustainable Lifestyles.
